Registration for youth league basketball, soccer and tumble-tastics has begun at the Greenville YMCA and everyone is encouraged to come and sign their child up for a season of fun.

Basketball registration began January 2 and will continue up until the season begins the week of February 16. Games will run through the week of March 23.

The Itty Bitty league, ages 4-5, will play cross court on a six-foot goal, the Rookie league, ages 6-7, will play cross court on an eight-foot goal, the Passers league, ages 8-9, will play full court on an eight-foot goal and the Shooters league, ages 10-13, will play full court on a regulation 10-foot goal.

All teams will be coed.

All participants in the leagues will receive a t-shirt, a certificate of participation and a medallion at the end of the season.

Cost of registration is $35 for YMCA members, $26 for each additional child, or $48 for non-members.

Soccer registration began January 5 and will continue through February 9. Games will begin February 24 on the soccer field and will run through March 31.

The leagues will be divided by age groups, including 5-and-under, 7-and-under, 9-and-under, 11-and-under and 14-and-under.

All teams will be coed.

All participants will receive a game shirt, a certificate of participation and a medallion at the end of the season.

Tumble-tastics registration began January 2 and will continue up until classes begin February 5. Class will run through March 12.

This unique, fun and exciting class allows children to develop the skills needed to become a gymnast, tumbler or cheerleader. The Tumble-tastics course lasts six weeks and each child will be taught at their own level. Class will be Monday's from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and are for ages 4-and-up.

The classes will be held in the YMCA gym and each student is required to wear shorts with a t-shirt or a leotard. No shoes or socks are allowed.

Cost of registration is $30 for YMCA members, $40 for non-members, and a $5 registration fee.
