Sarah A. Owens married Billy F. Stephenson on January 12, 1957.

Their children, Sheila and Randy Drew of Dothan, and Tina, Andy and Trey (grandson) Whitaker of Pike Road, Ala., gave the party.

This event was held on Saturday, January 13 at the Whitakers' home.

Three dozen family and close friends attended.

Gold and white tulle candles and fresh flowers decorated the home.

A two-tier Italian Cream wedding cake was the table centerpiece.

Billy and Sarah retired eight years ago from Troy, Ala., and now live in Montgomery.

Billy retired after 32 years as a Baptist pastor and is still active in the ministry.

Sarah retired from the Pike County Board of Education where she served as the Director of Child Nutrition.
