Julie Anne Johnson and Andrew Lloyd Bowen were united in marriage on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Antioch East Baptist Church in Greenville.

The Reverend Ike Steverson of Calvary Baptist Church, Bonifay, Fla., officiated. Music was performed by the Rosewood Strings of the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, Benjamin Johnson, brother of the bride, and vocalists Sabrina Reynolds and Tom Payne, both of Greenville.

Videography was by Brian Johnson of Franklin, Tenn., and Benjamin Johnson of Gulf Shores, both brothers of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson of Greenville. She is the granddaughter of Mildred Johnson of Fort Deposit; Marion Tarver of Zubulon, Ga. and Jean Thompson of Baker, Fla. Julie is a graduate of Faulkner State University with a degree in Surgical Technology and is employed by The Surgical Center in Montgomery.

The groom is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Allen &#8220Bo” Bowen of Greenville.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Irby Bowen of Luverne and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Burke of Donalsonville, Ga. Andy is a graduate of Troy University with a degree in Sports and Fitness Management.

He is employed by Alabama Christian Academy in Montgomery as a sports performance coordinator and strength and conditioning coach.

Presented in marriage by her father, Julie wore a strapless white satin gown with a bodice of white lace and tiny white pearls. She wore a hip-length tulle veil with satin ribbon edging.

By her side at the altar, were Maid of Honor Alisha Mosley of Fort Deposit, cousin of the bride; Daie Johnson, cousin of the bride, Elizabeth Chastain, friend of the bride and Junior Bridesmaid Christen McKeague, friend of the bride, all of Greenville.

Flower girls were Sydnee Burke, cousin of the groom and Anna Claire Nimmer, friend of the bride.

The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Matt Bowen, brother of the groom; Matt Smith of Birmingham, and Gabe Corbin and David Whitaker of Bonifay, Fla., all friends of the groom.

Ring bearers were Tanner Simmons, cousin of the groom and Chase Black, cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was given in the church fellowship hall, catered by Becky Manning of Chapman.

The bride's cake was a three-tiered white cake embellished with green hydrangeas, apricot lilies and roses.

The couple's monogram decorated the front of the cake.

The groom's cake was a two-tiered chocolate cake with a fishing theme. Both cakes were made by Edwina Platt of Georgiana.

Following a seven-day cruise to the Western Caribbean, the couple now resides in Luverne.
