Lara Leigh Kelley celebrates 4th birthday in #8216;princess style#039;

On Saturday, March 10, 2007, Miss Lara Leigh Kelley was honored with a birthday party at the home of Mr. Scott and Mrs. Kristin Kelley in Petrey.

A &uot;princess theme&uot; was used to decorate the home, and a two-tiered birthday cake in the design of a princess castle was used as a centerpiece for the dining room table.

There were approximately 25 guests in attendance who enjoyed playing &uot;pin the crown on the princess&uot;, princess scavenger hunt, and &uot;slay the dragon&uot; pinata.

The female guests received makeup gift sets and party bubbles as party favors, and the male guests received sports video games and party bubbles.

Lara Leigh enjoyed the company of her family and friends and received many gifts.

On Friday, March 9, Ms. Ashley Meadows attended the National Writing Project workshop in Troy, Ala., where she finalized her workshop entitled &uot;Reading and Writing: Partners in Crime,&uot; which she will be presenting this summer at the Troy University Learning Fest and at the Gulf Coast Conference in Destin, Fla.

Mr. Benny Taylor of Petrey attended a lay speaking conference in Auburn.

On March 10,

Mrs. Billie Jones, Mrs. Francis Wyrosdick, and Mrs. Linda Floyd enjoyed an evening with their grandchildren, nieces, and nephews at McDonald’s in Luverne.

On Monday, March 5, 21 people attended the senior adult luncheon at Campground UMC.

During the weekend of March 9, approximately 25 people gathered at Campground UMC for a day of fellowship in cleaning and painting the fellowship hall.

a special PTA meeting will be held at Luverne High School auditorium concerning the school uniform advisory committee.

On February 25,

Mrs. Valeta Spradley enjoyed a cruise with her family, which made stops in different areas of Mexico including Cozumel.

Mrs. Spradley returned last week from a five-week visit with her daughter and grandsons in Florida.
