Greenville High golf team drops first match in Troy

The Greenville High School golf team finished with a combined 403 April 3 as the Charles Henderson Trojans took the victory in the three-team tournament in Troy.

Brandon Croley led the Tigers with an 85, followed by Adam Braden with a 99, Jeremy Booker with a 114, Tyler Clark with a 105 and Brandon Boyette with a 128.

Chase McGowan led the Charles Henderson Trojans with a 74, followed by Stephen Pearlstein with an 83, Daniel Ross with an 83, Matt Corbin with a 92 and Taylor Green with a 95 for combined team total of 332.

Jamison Baker led Elba with an 80, followed by Seth Hanchey with a 101, Taylor Cotton with a 103 and Donnie Stinson with a 111 for a combined team total of 395.

The Tigers will return to action Thursday as they travel to Montgomery to compete in an 18-hole event at 3 p.m.
