Thigpen joins staff of The Advocate

The Greenville Advocate welcomes a new addition to its advertising staff this week. Ashley Norman Thigpen has joined the newspaper staff as an advertising representative.

Born and raised in Greenville, Thigpen is a graduate of Fort Dale Academy.

She earned her BS degree in Family & Child Development at Auburn University. Thigpen has worked in the area of sales for several years.

&#8220I came back to Greenville to marry the ‘boy from across the street,' Ward Thigpen. I am so happy to be back home near my family and friends,” Thigpen said.

GA Advertising Manager Tracy Salter said, &#8220I am very excited to have Ashley join the Greenville Advocate family. I look forward to the professionalism and enthusiasm she will bring to the paper.”

Thigpen said she is very much looking forward to her new career in newspaper advertising.
