Rebels drown Lady Tide to stay perfect

Kindal Harrell was 3-for-3 with a pair of homeruns and three runs scored Monday to help lead the Rebels (2-0) to victory over the Lady Tide (0-2) in Dixie Angels action, 23-0.

Emily Webster was 3-for-3 with a homerun and three runs scored, Caitlyn Brooks was 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three runs scored, Taylor Waller was 3-for-3 with three runs scored, Taylor King was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and Raneiyah Smith was 3-for-3 with two runs scored for the Rebels.

Tori Simmons also had three hits while Carmen Till, Sarah Owens and Ieshia Powell each had two and Alex Merry and Janazia Thompson each had one.

Lekenonna Powell had the only hit for the Lady Tide.

The Rebels will take on the Yellow Jackets Thursday at 7:30 p.m., and the Lady Tide will take on the Blue Jays at 6 p.m.

Yellow Jackets 13, Blue Jays 12

The Yellows Jackets outscored the Blue Jays 4-3 in the final inning Monday which proved to be enough as they took the win, 13-12.

Ashlyn McKeown had three hits and scored two runs for the Jackets while Mya Coleman, Hannah Reaves, Savannah Mauch and Tykeria Peagler each finished with two of hits, including Peagler's pair of doubles.

Morgan Perdue, Hanna Owens, Megan Phelps, Breanna Clark, Jessica McNaughton and Tykeria Crenshaw also each had a hit in the win.

For the Blue Jays, Takira Walker was the leading hitter with three hits, followed by Mary Glenn Fuller, Renee Mayberry and Chelsey Mink with two hits apiece.

Olivia Foster, Rhiya Daniel, Devon Duke, Kirsten Jordan, Tristin Howes, Madison McNaughton, Alexis Wilson and Ralexus Patterson each finished with one hit for the Jays.

The Yellow Jackets will take on the Rebels Thursday at 7:30 p.m., and the Blue Jays will take on the Lady Tide at 6 p.m.

Yellow Jackets 16, Lady Tide 9

Hannah Reaves, Ashlyn McKeown, Taylor Jordan and Breanna Cook had three hits apiece Saturday to help lift the Yellow Jackets to victory over the Lady Tide, 16-9.

McKeown and Jordan each finished with a double and two runs scored for the Jackets while Hannah Owens had two hits, including a double, and Savannah Mauch had two hits, including a homerun.

Megan Phelps and Tykeria Peagler also each had two hits while Mya Coleman, Morgan Perdue, Tykeria Banks, Jessica McNaughton and Tykeria Crenshaw.

Mallory Conway had two hits, including a homerun, for the Lady Tide while Charli Hood and Briana Worthington had two hits, including a triple, apiece.

Lekenonna Powell also had two hits for the Lady Tide, including a double.

Callie Waite, Alexis Landrum, Madison Gibson, Cheyanne Kilpatrick, Alena Johnson and Savana Worthington also each had a hit for the Tide.

Rebels 20, Blue Jays 7

Katelyn Brooks had three hits, including two homeruns, Saturday as the Rebels took down the Blue Jays, 20-7.

Alex Merry and Kindal Harrell had three hits apiece in the win, including a homerun and two doubles by Harrell, while Taylor King, Carmen Till, Taylor Waller, Sarah Owens and Janazia Thompson each finished with a pair of hits.

Emily Webster, Tori Simmons and Keauna Steele also each had a hit in the win.

For the Blue Jays, Takira Walker, Olivia Foster and Rhiya Daniel had two hits apiece, including Walker's two homeruns, Daniel's one homerun and Foster's triple.

Mary Glenn Fuller, Madison McNaughton, Devin Duke, Chelsey Mink, Alexis Wilson, Ralexus Patterson and Renee Mayberry also each had a hit for the Jays.
