Tillery no hits Orioles

Cade Tillery threw a no-hit shutout Friday night to lead the Royals to victory over the Orioles, 4-0.

Jeffrey Fuller was the leading hitter for the Royals (1-3), going 2-for-3, followed by Reginald Bennett, Luke Hamm, Andy Burns and Toby King each with a hit and a run scored, including a double by King in the first inning.

For the Orioles (2-2), Roscoe Moorhead and Ben Presley were the only two runners to make it safely to base.

The Royals will return to action Friday as they take on the Rangers at 7:30 p.m. The Orioles will take on the Nationals at 6 p.m.

Rangers 2, Nationals 0

Wilson Lowe and Chip Taylor each scored a run Monday and that's all the Rangers needed as they took the close victory over the Nationals, 2-0.

Although Taylor and Lowe scored the only two runs for the Rangers (3-1), Michael Myers scattered the only hit.

For the Nationals (2-2), David Miller, Connally Walters and Seth Glass each had a hit.

The Rangers will return to action Friday as they take on the Royals at 7:30 p.m. The will Nationals take on the Orioles at 6 p.m.
