Armstrong scores twice in Braves win

Hunter Armstrong was 1-for-2 with two runs scored Tuesday as the Braves handed the Red Sox their first Dixie Boys loss of the season, 3-1.

Daniel Frazier was 1-for-2 with a run scored for the Braves (4-1), Eli Blackmon was 1-for-3 with a double, Mitch Young was 1-for-2 with a double and Bud Thagard was 1-for-2 in the win.

For the Red Sox (4-1), Stephen Till was 2-for-3, Rush Nimmer was 1-for-3, Hunter Harrell was 1-for-3 with a run scored and Jonathan Scott was 1-for-2.

Frazier picked up the win for the Braves.

The Braves will return to action Monday as they take on the A's at 7:45 p.m. The Red Sox will take on the Cubs at 6 p.m.
