Yankees rally past Indians

Although the Indians scored six runs in the final inning Monday, the Yankees were able to hold on for the Dixie Minors victory, 13-12.

Offensively for the Yankees (3-5), Cole Davis was 2-for-2 with a homerun and two runs scored, Clay McMeans was 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored, Donte Lee was 1-for-2 with a run scored and C.J. Savage was 1-for-1 with a double and a two runs scored.

Austin Vickery scored two runs for the Yankees while Barrett Bush, Triston Stinson, Fuller Myrick and DeMarius Steele each scored one.

For the Indians (2-6), Brandon Blackmon and Will Smith each scored three runs, Deaton Owens scored two runs while Cody Parker, Dalton Hood, Chardarius Davison and Austin Till each scored one run.

The Yankees will return to action Monday as they take on the Braves at 7:30 p.m. The Indians will take on the Orioles Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Red Sox 10, Orioles 3

Daniel Hall Autrey was 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored Monday as the Red Sox toppled the Orioles, 10-3.

Ryan Burkett, Avery Shipp and Justice Taylor were each 1-for-3 for the Red Sox (6-1), including two runs scored by Burkett and one each by Shipp and Taylor.

Colt Reaves also scored two runs for the Sox while Nathan Looney was 1-for-1 with two runs scored.

For the Orioles (2-5), Cody Harrell was 1-for-2 with a double and a run scored, Colby Booker and Kris Wilson were each 1-for-2 and Ross Till and Austin Brown each scored a run.

The Red Sox will take on the Braves Thursday at 6 p.m., and the Orioles will take on the Indians at 7:30 p.m.
