If you haven't yet met the new executive director of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, you'll soon have the chance to do so and see the changes already taking place at the Chamber office.

A reception for Francine Wasden is slated as the latest Chamber &#8220After Hours” event, kicking off at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 22 at the historic Depot offices at Bolling and Commerce Streets.

Wasden said she is enjoying her new duties as she gets to know the Camellia City's business community.

&#8220I have been having a wonderful time so far. We've already gotten several new Chamber members and several more who have called and asked for information,” Wasden said on Monday.

The May 22 event will allow everyone time to mix and mingle with friends and fellow business associates and to enjoy some good food, Wasden said.

&#8220If the weather holds, we might just throw something tasty on the grill. Whatever we do, it will be fun,” she said with a smile.

&#8220Everyone is welcome and I look forward to meeting those in our business community I haven't yet had the chance to meet.”
