The South Luverne Baptist Women on Missions met Tuesday, May 8th with 8 members present.

Doris Rogers gave a short devotion on Christians being a light in a world of darkness.

She also presented a program, &#8220If I Grow Up.” The story was about ministering to children who live in a world of abuse, murder and assault.

The children have no hope of growing up.

Christians need to be more alert and aware of children in these situations, and be able to minister to them and their families.

Betty Tomberlin gave the prayer calendar.

The group assembled 23 care packages of personal items for the Pink Ladies to give out as needed to patients at Crenshaw Community Hospital.
