Dr. and Mrs. William Rhone Parrish of Dothan announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Malissa Parrish, to Charles Richard Hamrick II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richard Hamrick of Auburn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Laura Riley and the late Ed Riley, the late Lloyd Seaborn, and the late Dr. and Mrs. W.T. Parrish of Dothan.

She is a graduate of Houston Academy, and received a degree in Marketing from Auburn University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

She is currently a sales manager for the AmericasMart in Atlanta.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Sibylle Alexander and the late Max D. Alexander of Goodwater and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wilson Hamrick of Greenville.

He is a graduate of Auburn High School, and received a degree in Entrepreneurship and Family Business from Auburn University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.

He is currently a sales representative for Stock Building Supply in Atlanta.

The wedding will be an event of June 16, 2007 at 6 p.m. at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga.
