The Red Sox clinched the Dixie Boys championship Thursday with a 4-1 win over the second-place Braves.

At the plate for the Red Sox (11-2), Todd Burkett was 3-for-3, Stephen Till was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored, Hunter Harrell was 2-for-3 with a double and one run scored, Gray Vinson was 2-for-3 with a double and Rush Nimmer was 1-for-3 with a run scored.

For the Braves (9-4), Mitch Young was 1-for-1 with a double, Reid Burkett was 1-for-1 with a run scored and Daniel Frazier and Nathan Branum were each 1-for-3.

The Red Sox will close out the season Tuesday against the Cubs at 7:45 p.m., and the Braves will close out the season against the A's at 6 p.m.

A's 18, Cubs 8

Every player for the A's had a hit Thursday as they cruised to victory over the Cubs, 18-8.

Jerome Cook, the leading hitter for the A's (6-7), was 5-for-5 with a run scored, Cody Delaney was 3-for-4 with four runs scored, Jared Edge and Caleb Parsons were each 3-for-4 with two runs scored, Trent Norris was 2-for-2 with a grand slam, Scott Bentley was 2-for-4 with two runs scored, Taylor Loftin was 2-for-4 with three runs scored, Clint Norris was 2-for-3 with a run scored, Skylar McKeown was 2-for-4 with a run scored and Dillon Frazier was 1-for-4 with a run scored.

For the Cubs (0-13), Raymond Goldsmith and Joshua Pierce each scored two runs and Racardo Johnson, Charlie Simmons, Willie Thigpen and Nicholas each scored a run.

The A's will close out the season Tuesday against the Braves at 6 p.m., and the Cubs will close out the season against the Red Sox at 7:45 p.m.

Red Sox 11, A's 9

Steven Till knocked a two-run homerun in the final inning Tuesday as the Red Sox broke open a 9-9 tie to take the win over the A's, 11-9.

Offensively for the Red Sox, Hunter Harrell was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, Todd Burkett was 2-for-2 with a homerun, two RBIs and three runs scored, Steven Till was 2-for-4 with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs scored, Jonathan Scott was 2-for-3 with one run scored, Rush Nimmer was 2-for-4 with a run scored, Gray Vinson was 1-for-3 with a double, Kevin Taylor was 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored and Cody Tesmer scored a run in the win.

For the A's, Caleb Parsons was 2-for-3 with a run scored, Dillon Frazier was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored, Jared Edge was 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored, Skylar McKeown, Jerome Cook and Clint Norris each had a hit and scored a run and Trent Norris scored two runs.

Braves 21, Cubs 3

All nine Braves players scored at least two runs Tuesday as they cruised to victory over the Cubs, 21-3.

At the plate for the Braves, Reid Burkett and Mitch Young each scored three runs while Bud Thagard, Tucker Harrell, Levi Ray, Kendrick Thomas, Dalton Burns, Jeremy McGinty and Hunter Armstrong each scored two runs.

For the Cubs, Charlie Simmons, Raymone Goldsmith and Rico Knight each scored a run.

Dixie Majors

Braves 6, A's 5

Brady Newton scored off of a Steven Lee single Thursday as the Braves took the Dixie Majors victory over the A's in extra innings, 6-5.

Offensively for the Braves (5-0), Brady Newton was 3-for-3 with a homerun and three RBIs, Lee was 2-for-2 with a homerun and a run scored, Andrew Phelps was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored, Kendall Gibson was 2-for-4 and Hunter Smith was 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

For the A's (2-4), Brantley McKeown was 2-for-4 with a homerun, a triple and one run scored, Rocky Harrell was 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored, David Stephenson was 1-for-3 with a run scored, Leo Bowen was 1-for-2 with a double and a run scored, Hunter Paul was 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored and Caleb Glass was 1-for-4.

The Braves will take on the Nationals Tuesday at 6 p.m., and the A's will take on the Rangers at 8 p.m.

Rangers - Nationals (PPD)

A's 11, Nationals 8

The A's batted around and scored seven runs in the third inning Tuesday to take the win over the Nationals, 11-8.

Offensively for the A's, Hunter Paul, Caleb Glass, Rocky Harrell and David Taylor each had two hits and two runs scored while David Stephenson and Brandon Croley each had a hit and a run scored. Brantley McKeown and Leo Bowen also each scored a run in the win.

For the Nationals (0-5), Edward Searight was 3-for-3 with three runs scored, Tory Means was 2-for-3 with a triple and three runs scored and Derrell Robinson and Anthony Mack each scored a run.

Braves 6, Rangers 1

The Braves scored four runs in the final inning Tuesday as they pulled away from the Rangers to take the win, 6-1.

At the plate for the Braves, Ty Newton was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, Kendall Gibson was 2-for-3 with a run scored, Hunter Smith was 1-for-2 with two runs scored and Brady Newton scored a run in the win.

For the Rangers (3-2), Ronald Scott, Kyle Nelson, Terrence Whittle, Kenny Peterson, Andre Paige and Chris Shows each had a hit while Shows also scored a run.

Dixie Youth

Rangers 8, Nationals 4

Chase Whiddon was 2-for-3 with a homerun, three RBIs and a run scored Tuesday to lift the Rangers to victory over the Nationals in Dixie Youth action, 8-4.

Also at the plate for the Rangers (9-4), Taylor Hartley was 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored, Michael Smith was 1-for-3 with two runs scored, Chip Taylor was 1-for-1 with three runs scored and Wilson Lowe was 1-for-4. Michael Meyers also scored a run in the win.

For the Nationals (3-10), Harper Vinson was 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs scored, Mathew Bender was 1-for-2 with a run scored, Seth Glass was 1-for-2 and Connally Walters scored a run.

Taylor picked up the win for the Rangers with 13 strikeouts.

The Rangers will take on the Orioles Tuesday at 6 p.m., and the Nationals will take on the Royals at 7:30 p.m.

Orioles 7, Royals 1

Toby King was 2-for-3 with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs scored at the plate Tuesday while also striking out 12 batters from the mound to lead the Orioles to victory over the Royals, 7-1.

At the plate for the Orioles (8-5), Cade Tillery was 1-for-2 with a run scored, Bruce Jones was 1-for-2 with a double, Caleb Whigham was 1-for-1, Andy Burns scored two runs and Jeffrey Fuller and Briar Kirby each scored one.

For the Royals (6-7), Forest Luker was 2-for-2 with a triple and Ryan Taylor scored the only run in the fifth inning.

The Orioles will take on the Rangers Tuesday at 6 p.m., and the Royals will take on the Nationals at 7:30 p.m.

Dixie Minors

Yankees 14, Indians 8

The Yankees scored 14 runs in the third inning and then held on for the Dixie Minors win over the Indians, 14-8.

Offensively for the Yankees (4-8), Demarius Steele was 2-for-2 with a run scored, Donte Lee was 1-for-2 with a double and two runs scored, C.J. Savage was 1-for-3 with a run scored, Hayden Davis was 1-for-3 with a run scored, Cole Davis and Zach Varner each scored two runs and Barrett Bush, Austin Vickery and Tristan Stinson each scored one.

For the Indians (2-10), Brandon Blackmon was 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored, Will Smith was 1-for-3 with two runs scored, Deaton Owens was 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored, Dalton Hood was 1-for-1 with two runs scored, Tanner Pouncey was 1-for-2 and Cody Parker and Steiner Hamilton each scored one run.

The Yankees will take on the Braves June 4 at 7:30 p.m., and the Indians will take on the Orioles Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Red Sox 13, Orioles 3

The Red Sox scored five runs in the fourth inning and five more in the sixth to break open a 3-3 tie to take the win over the Orioles, 13-3.

At the plate for the Red Sox (10-2), Daniel Hall Autrey was 2-for-3 with a run scored, Ran Burkett was 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored and Joseph Peavey was 1-for-2 with two runs scored.

For the Orioles (4-8), Ross Till was 1-for-3 with a triple, Colby Booker was 1-for-3 and Cody Harrell and JaQuan Lewis each scored a run.

The Red Sox will take on the Braves Thursday at 6 p.m., and the Orioles will take on the Indians Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Mite league

Giants 10, Pirates 8

The Giants scored two runs in the final inning and then held off a rally by the Pirates to take the close Mite league victory, 10-8.

Offensively for the Giants (4-0), Malik Bunch scored three runs, Mankenines Bradley, Kyler Weeks and Nathan Scoggins each scored two and Trey Johnson scored one.

For the Pirates (1-3), Tanner Cartwright scored three runs and Leo Parker, Mason Keen and Clay Newton each scored two runs.

The Giants will take on the Mets Thursday at 6 p.m., on Dunbar 2 while the Pirates will take on the Yankees at 6 p.m., on Dunbar 1.

Yankees 8, White Sox 5

The Yankees scored two runs in the final inning Thursday to secure the win and put away the White Sox, 8-5.

At the plate for the Yankees (3-1), Jeffrey Tillery scored three runs, Derius Mitchell and Mae Thomas each scored two and Joseph Price scored one.

For the White Sox (2-2), Brandon White scored two runs and Skilar Moorer, Mark Patterson and Benjamin each scored one.

The Yankees will take on the Pirates Thursday at 6 p.m., on Dunbar 1 and the White Sox will take on the Rangers at 7 p.m., on Dunbar 1.

Rangers 20, Mets 4

All nine Rangers players scored Thursday en route to a dominating win over the Mets, 20-4.

Offensively for the Rangers (2-2), Luke Taylor scored four runs, Tripp Richardson scored three runs, Daniel McKeown, Cole English, Bryan Folds, Dedric Owens, Tyler Stone and Blake Burrage each scored two runs and Keller Rogers scored one in the win.

For the Mets (0-4), Blake Anthony scored two runs and Sullivan Harold and Sidaryus Harris each scored one.

The Rangers will take on the White Sox Thursday at 7 p.m., on Dunbar 1 and the Mets will take on the Giants at 6 p.m., on Dunbar 2.
