Mr. and Mrs. Justin D. Nettles of Prattville and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rushing of Tallassee and announce the engagement of their daughter, Laramie Lee, to Christopher Todd Copeland of Montgomery, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Copeland of Troy.

Miss Rushing is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry N. Mitchell Sr. of Fort Deposit and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence G. Rushing of Andalusia.

She is a graduate of Fort Dale Academy and will graduate in the fall with a business degree from Troy University.

The bride-elect is employed with the Investments Dept. of ALFA Insurance Companies as manager of the Sturbridge Homeowners Association.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mary M. Dubose of Troy and the late M. Thomas Dubose. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry O. Copeland II.

Mr. Copeland is a graduate of Pike Liberal Arts School and obtained a finance degree from Troy University.

He is employed with ALFA Insurance Companies as a senior life underwriter.

The wedding will take place at First Baptist Church in Montgomery at 5 p.m. on September 1.
