Brunson Chapel Church enjoys trip to Pine Mountain

Members and friends of Brunson Chapel Church toured the Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain, Ga., on Saturday, June 2.

A group of approximately 40 left the church at 5:30 a.m. and returned home at 8 p.m.

Everyone enjoyed feeding the buffalo, zebra, giraffe, elk and other wildlife animals.

They also enjoyed seeing a rhino, lions, tigers, monkeys, snakes and alligators.

They ate a picnic lunch in a shaded pavilion.

After lunch, everyone loaded the bus and headed to Warm Springs, Ga. There they toured the Little White House of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

They also visited the Warm Spring Pools where President Roosevelt swam and received therapy while recovering from polio.

The bus then stopped in Montgomery at Eastchase where

everyone ate supper at the restaurant of their choice.
