The CCA Dance Team held its first Universal Dance Association Dance Home Camp June 5 – 7.

Instructing the team was UDA Instructor Erin Skelton from Birmingham.

At the end of the first day of camp, the dance team was judged on their home routine and they received a Superior trophy.

Each day the team learned two new advanced level routines.

They were evaluated the 2nd and 3rd day, and each girl received a superior rating on all routines.

All five members were awarded UDA All-Star.

They had to learn a routine and add their own choreography.

As a UDA All-Star, the girls can perform in the 2007 Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and the Disney World Thanksgiving Tour.

Megan Sport, captain and senior, was invited to try out for UDA staff next year.

The dance team is under the direction of Mrs. Stephanie Jones.

The dance team performs at all of the CCA home football and basketball games.
