McGinty, Royal to wed July 28

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth D. Lasseigne of Brantley, Alabama, and Mr. James A. McGinty, Jr., of Montgomery, Alabama, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Michelle McGinty to Joseph Hunter Royal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius H. Royal, Jr., of Grady, Alabama.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Qunnie Bailey and the late Mr. Joe Rex Bailey of Brantley, Mr. and Mrs. James A. McGinty, Sr., of Pintlala, and Mr. and Mrs. Jep Douglas Sasser, Sr., of Andalusia.

Miss McGinty is a graduate of Troy University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and is currently attending Troy School of Nursing.

Miss McGinty is employed at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. Julius H. Royal, Sr., and the late Mrs. Marquerite Royal of Grady and the late Mr. and Mrs. William C. Gardner of Grady and step-grandmother Mrs. Frances Gardner of Grady. Mr. Royal is a graduate of South Montgomery Christian Academy.

He is currently an employee of Universal Products as the territory sales manager of Alabama and the panhandle of Florida.

The couple will exchange vows on July 28, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. at Landmark Church of Christ in Montgomery, Alabama.

The reception will follow at the Oak's Plantation.
