Crenshaw Christian Academy’s JV and Varsity cheerleading squads attended UCA cheer camp at Auburn University June 27-30. Junior Varsity cheerleaders SuSu Sport and Paige Lester and Varsity cheerleaders Kelly Sasser, Danielle Welch, and Lakan Beck made the All Star team. Both the JV and Varsity squads received all Superior ribbons and the Spirit Stick each day. To receive the Superior ribbons and Spirit Stick, the girls were evaluated each night for their excellence on the All Star cheer and the extreme routines. The Junior Varsity squad won &uot;Camp Champs&uot; for the extreme routine in the freshman division during the championship competitions on Saturday morning.
