Because of so much publicity the trial has received, defense attorneys for Brent Springford, Jr., are asking for a change of venue, citing the possibility that it would be hard to find an impartial jury in Montgomery County. The motion was filed this past Monday before Judge William Shashy.

Springford has been accused of murdering his parents, Brent and Charlotte Springford, in their Montgomery home on Thanksgiving Day in

2004. Brent Springford was president of the Pepsie Company of Luverne at the time of this death.

Springford, Jr., has since filed a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. His latest photos show that his hair and beard have grown very long.

Springford was also charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of robbery for allegedly breaking into his parents' home and for stealing their car.

Judge Shashy could make his ruling any day.
