Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Hale of Goshen, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Kayla Hale, to Trey Houlton.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Houlton, Jr., of Grady, Ala.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallis Jeter of Goshen and Brent Hale of Centre, Ala., and the late Nellie Hale of Centre, Ala.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Mabry Hannon of Rockford, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Houlton, Sr., of Grady, Ala.

Miss Hale graduated from Crenshaw Christian Academy in 2004.

She attended The Montgomery School of Bodywork and Massage.

She is currently employed as a Chez Ami Sales Consultant in retail for Paitsy Aiken Designs.

Mr. Houlton is a 2003 graduate from South Montgomery County Academy.

He attended Troy University and graduated from Okefenokee Technical College in June 2007.

He is currently employed with CSX Railroad in Montgomery, Ala.

The wedding is planned for September 22, 2007, at 6 p.m. at Goshen Baptist Church in Goshen.

The reception will follow at the home of the bride's grandparents, Wallis and Carola Jeter in Goshen, Ala.
