Summer is over and things are once again in full swing at Luverne High School.

The football team is getting ready for a Jamboree game this Friday night in Geneva.

Hope everyone will come out and support the Tigers!

Season tickets for the home games are on sale for $40 at the school office or from any Athletic Club member.

The Tiger Marching Band, under the direction of drum major John Travius Oliver, has been practicing long and hard for their half-time show, featuring a salute to Disney.

There are several new teachers on campus this year, as well as a new elementary principal, Mrs. Gail Morgan.

Welcome, Mrs. Morgan and all the new teachers and aides!

Dr. K., our new high school math teacher, is organizing a chess team this fall for all who are interested in the game of chess.

I would be amiss if I did not mention that yearbooks continue to be on sale for $40.
