Alline Powell Brewer, 89, of Greenville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Chapel services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2008 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with the Rev. Cary Brown and the Rev. Travis Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Home Cemetery at Pleasant Home Baptist Church with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by husband Wilson Brewer. She is survived by: children, Jim (Malinda) Brewer of Mossy Head, Fla., Jane (O’Neil) Carr of Greenville; grandchildren, Joey (Brinda) Russell of Andalusia and Gary (Lisa) Russell of Greenville; great-grandson, Nicholas Russell of Greenville; brother and sisters, John H. Powell of Collierville, Tenn., LeRoy Powell of Toledo, Ohio, Virgil Sellers of Lakeland, Fla., Jimmy (June) Powell of Grove Hill, and Annie Jo (Ivy) Leverett of Opelika.
