Funeral services will be Thursday, September 4, from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny White officiating. Burial to follow in Gorum Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.

Survivors include: companion, Judy Henley of Wing; sons, James Ray Odom of Freeport, Fla. and Byron Jay Odom, Chalamar, Fla.; daughter, Donna Jean Anderson of Freeport; brothers, William James Odom of Jacksonville, Fla. and Leland Horace Odom of Andalusia; sister, Martha Joyce Proctor of Dothan; long-time friend, J.J. Branum of Freeport; mother of his children, Evelyn Jean Odom of Freeport, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made toward funeral expenses.
