Red Level’s defense didn’t have an answer for Flomaton’s Tony Ellis as the Tigers fell at home Friday night, 38-14.

Ellis finished with 25 carries for 340 yards and five touchdowns.

Leading the Tigers offensive were Desmond Jones, who had 12 carries for 67 yards and a touchdown, and D.J. Sankey, who had nine carries for 42 yards.

The game started roughly for Red Level as Flomaton recovered and onside kick on the first play of the game on the way to an opening scoring drive.

The Tigers broke onto the board with 7:27 left in the second quarter when Jones scored on a 15-yard run. Preston Ryce added the two-point conversion as the Tigers cut the lead to 16-8.

Red Level’s final touchdown of the game came with 2:10 left in the fourth quarter when Shane Jackson scored on a 3-yard run. The extra point was no good, making the score 38-14.
