Mrs. Geraldine McCart Robbins, 72, of Opp, died Tues., Sept. 9, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Fri., Sept. 12, 2008, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Elbert Smith officiating. Interment followed at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Judd Holderfield provided special music.
Mrs. Robbins is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon (Ray) Bennett of Andalusia and Diane (Jim) McCoy of Opp; son and daughter-in-law, Randall (Lorene) McCart of Andalusia; step-daughter, Ann (Joe) Barrick of Dothan; step-son, Bill (Patsy) Robbins of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Chris Bennett, Pamela Canant, Dee Ramer, Stacy McCart and Amy Smith; step-grandchildren, Ronnie Scott, Rhonda Baker and Michael Moore; great-grandchildren, Brad Ramer, Shelby Ramer, Brooke Russell, Chase Ramer, Hope Ramer, Lexie McCart and Kinsley Bennett; step-great-grandchildren, Brett Baker, Mari Beth Baker, Haley Scott, Hannah Scott, Ben Kimbril and Jenna Kimbril; sisters, Doris McCartha of Ozark and Francis Turner of Florala; and brother, James Davis of Andalusia.
Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Birdie Davis; husbands, Thaddis (Pat) McCart and Odice Robbins; grandson, Stacy Bradford Ramer; and great-grandson, Kolby Ramer.
Pallbearers will be Willie Peters, Bill Ele, Ben Fuller, Chris Bennett, Stacy McCart, and Dee Ramer. Honorary pallbearers will be the ladies auxiliary.
