Mary Thelma Freeman, 88, of Andalusia, died Thurs., Sept. 11, 2008 in a local nursing home. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sat., Sept. 13, 2008, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Durwood Morgan officiating. Interment followed at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by three daughters, Mary Fay Lody of Cabot, Ark., Lyndell (Cleve) Huckabaa of Andalusia, Marlene Carpino of Pensacola, Fla.; one son, William Rayford Freeman of Andalusia; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and sister, Gertrude Pate of Andalusia.
Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her husband, W. A. Freeman; son, William David Freeman and grandson, William Anthony Freeman.
Pallbearers were Wayne Jenkins, Jeff Gray, Ivan Gray, Ronnie Pate, Alan Syler and David Whitehurst.
