Ann Trammell

Ann Little Trammell, 63, of Germantown, Tenn., formerly of Andalusia, passed away on Tues., Sept. 23, 2008, in her home from complications due to advanced cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Abner and O’Neter Little of Mobile.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, David H. Trammell, her son, D. Scott (Christy) Trammell, her daughter, Ann Kimberly Trammell, and her grandson, Shea Scott Trammell of Memphis, Tenn.
Ann spent her life as a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Ann grew up in Andalusia, attending school prior to moving to Mobile for her senior year of high school. She spent many years volunteering for musical organizations for her children and herself. Ann was not only a dedicated band mom, but was also an accomplished musician. She performed flute with The Shelby State Community Orchestra, The University of Memphis Wind Ensemble and The River City Concert Band. Ann was a graduate of The University of Memphis.
Throughout the years, Ann was a loving and nurturing mother for her children and many others who weren’t her children. Ann’s tenderness, compassion, empathy and legacy will live on in the hearts of countless individuals whose lives have been extraordinarily touched by this remarkable and brave woman.
