The Rev. Byron Hogg, 92, of Dozier, died Fri., Sept. 26, 2008, in the Opp Nursing Home.
Funeral services were Monday from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Pass officiating and burial following in Good Hope Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Hogg; his daughter, Glenda Eloise Hataway of Dozier; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Aubrey Hogg of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Margaret Eiland of Andalusia; and two half sisters, Quinell Evans of Alabaster and Marinell Smith of Pascagoula, Miss.
Pallbearers were Mack Smith, Buddy Harris, Eddie Johnson, Patrick Ferrel, Tony Palmer and Greg Palmer.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the Troy Children’s Home.
