Mr. Allen Lucas, 76, of Ft. Walton Beach, formerly of Andalusia, died Sat., Oct. 4, 2008, in a Ft. Walton nursing facility.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Wed., Oct. 8, at Foreman Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Lucas is survived by his wife, Merle Owens Lucas of Ft. Walton Beach; his son and daughter-in-law, Gene (Jan) Fuller of Ft. Walton Beach; five grandchildren, Richard Edgar, Rita Ward, Patti Hulsey, Denise Wages and Steven Fuller; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Bobby (Barbara) Lucas of Pensacola; and one sister, Jeanette Ryan of Texas.
Mr. Lucas was preceded in death by his daughter, Nell Edgar.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Richard Edgar, Steven Fuller, Michael Pittman, Scott Ward, Justin Hulsey and Jerry Edgar.
