Andalusia High School is celebrating homecoming today.

Activities begin at 8 a.m. with an alumni breakfast.

Homecoming assembly is scheduled for 9 a.m when Andalusia native Murray Findley will be named this year’s outstanding graduate.

Findley, who lives in Las Vegas, is the founder and former chairman and CEO of Sobel Westex, the dominant supplier of linens to lluxury hotels.

Last year, he established the Murray and Clare Findley study abroad scholarship through the Class of 1948 Foundation.

Alumni should be on their floats by 1:30 pm. for the homecoming parade. Pre-game ceremonies are at 6:30 p.m. with the football game at 7 p.m.
