Mr. Calvin Cecil Wyatt, 87, of the Straughn community, died Wed., Nov. 19, 2008, at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Wyatt were held Sat., Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. from the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. The Rev. Amy Persons Parkes officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Wyatt is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ron (Mary) Wyatt of Dothan; four daughters, Elizabeth Kennedy of Andalusia, Deborah (John) Tillman of Fairhope, Martha (Jerome) Parker of Andalusia and Anita (John) Kimbrell of Marbury, Ala.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerald (Nell) Wyatt of Columbus, Ga.
Pallbearers will be Larry Jones, John Wesley, Floyd Wood, Reese Holland, George Gantt and Tom Baker. The Men’s Sunday School Class of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Flowers or memorials to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund will be accepted.
