You can help make a child’s Christmas merry and bright – a child whose needy family may not be able to afford presents under the tree this year.

Andalusia Community Christmas, Inc., a non-profit annual program funded by the citizens and civic clubs of Andalusia, assists families in financial crisis who live in the Andalusia, Straughn, Red Level and Pleasant Home School districts. These families have registered approximately 650 children this year. Their information has been written on an angel card and the angels can be adopted at area businesses.

A suggested amount of $50 should be spent on each adopted angel. The packages with angel card are to be dropped off on Fri. and Sat., Dec. 5 and 6 at the Kiwanis Building on the South Bypass.

Tax-deductible contributions can also be mailed to Andalusia Community Christmas, Inc., P.O. Box 1525, Andalusia, AL 36420. FEIN# 20-0211790

For any questions, please call the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce at 222-2030 or Sav-A-Life of Covington County at 222-0644.
