Mrs. Patricia Grace Straughn, 76, of Andalusia, died Sat., Dec. 6, 2008, in Jackson’s Hospital in Montgomery.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tues., Dec. 9, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Hunt officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia directing.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Straughn of Andalusia and Ronald Gershwinder of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha (Robert) Ammons of Montgomery, Kathy (Lamar) Everage of Andalusia, Robin (Kenneth) Compton of Brantley and Rebecca (Eugene) Ainsworth of Andalusia; two stepdaughters, Linda Watson Jacksonville and Jeanette Hinton, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren
Mrs. Straughn was preceded in death by her husband, Burnette Straughn; son, David Thomas’ three grandchildren, Andrew Straughn, Danny Ammons and Brandy Ainsworth; and stepdaughter, Ruth Brooks.
Pallbearers included Larry Hicks, John David Straughn, Jamie Straughn, Chuck Brogden, Todd Godwin and Adam Godwin.
