Mr. James Edmond Gunter, 74, of Chunchula, Ala., formerly of Andalusia, died Mon., Dec. 8, 2008, in a Mobile hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Thurs., Dec. 11, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. John Hunt and Matt Brady officiating and burial will follow in Carolina Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include his sons, James Clarence Gunter of St. Elmo, La., and Tony Edmond Gunter of Bueche, La.; his daughters, Ramona Bailey of Chunchula and Janet Campbell of Mobile; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, DeLeon Gunter of Warner Robins, Ga.
Pallbearers will be David Bailey Jr., Jason Gunter, Tony Bailey, Tony Gunter Jr., Robbie Stokes and Rick Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leland Sumrall and Stephen Nicholas.
