Mrs. Helen McFarland Mathews, 93, formerly of Rose Hill, died Fri., Dec. 26, 2008, in Pascagoula, Miss.
Funeral services were held on Tues., Dec. 30, 2008, at the Dozier Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Hogwood officiating. Burial followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Ralph Franklin (Mary) Mathews of Pascagoula; her grandchildren, Clarissa Marie Miller, Rickey (Beth) Aluise, Carrie Bramlee, Thomas Aluise and Elizabeth Aluise; six great grandchildren; her brother, Charles McFarland of Canton, Ga.; a brother-in-law, Hilary Mathews Jr., and a sister-in-law, Lillian Mathews of Rose Hill.
