Mr. Jesse C. McClain, 67, of Riverside, died Dec. 31, 2009. Funeral services were held Friday at Cropwell Baptist Church and interment was Saturday at Tift Memorial Gardens in Tifton, Ga. The Rev. Phillip Burden officiated and Kilgroe Funeral Home of Pell City directed the services.
Mr. McClain is survived by his wife, Sonya F. McClain; his son, Jason M. (Melissa) McClain; his daughter, Kellie McClain (Jimmy) Williamson; three brothers, J.B. (Joyce) McClain, B.J. (Hazel) McClain and Bill (Barbara) McClain; a sister, Patsy Ruth Stone; two grandchildren, Jordan Williamson and Jacie Williamson; and two step-grandchildren, Maggie and Josh Bowling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Mack McClain and Mary Ella McClain; and two sisters, Joyce Patterson and Jeanette Davis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
