Mr. George John Bicanek, 90, of Huntington Beach, Calif., died Thurs., Jan. 1, 2009, in the Anaheim Health Care Facility in Anaheim, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today, Sat., Jan. 10. 2009, at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Kelley officiating. Eulogies will be given by son George John Bicanek II, son-in-law Manny Miyar and granddaughter Tami Kalachi. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his wife, Elouise Kelley Bicanek of Huntington Beach, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, George John (Teresa) Bicanek II of Lomita, Calif.; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan Porter of Darien, Ill., Carol (Bill) Godwin of Linwood, Kansas, Nancy (Manny) Miyar of Naples, Fla., Linda (Randy) Bingle of Costa Mesa, Calif.; sister, Libby Feltner of Newport Beach, Calif.; grandchildren, Stephen (Sherry) Nichols, Tamara Kalachi, Gregory Kalachi, George John Bicanek III, Robin (Dewayne) Hicks, Stephanie (Dan) Marshall, Kelley Godwin, Aaron Bingle and Eric Bingle, and great grandchildren, Devin Nichols, Adam Nichols, Troy Nichols, Michelle Hicks, Wyatt Hicks, Alex Heuer, Alyssa Heuer, Michael Heuer and Brianna Bingle.
Pallbearers will be George John Bicanek II, George John Bicanek III, Manny Miyar, Stephen Nichols, Devin Nichols and Greg Kalachi.
