Mrs. Nola L. Straughn , 93, formerly of Andalusia, died Fri., Jan. 16, 2009, in a Montgomery nursing facility. Funeral services were held Sunday at Foreman Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Stewart officiating. Interment will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Straughn is survived by her grandchildren, Terry Jordan, Kay Jordan Martin (Jeff), Stacy Straughn Martin (Brooks) and Debbie Straughn Carswell (Robert); her great-grandchildren, Rachel Jordan, Bradley Martin, Haleigh Martin, Brooks Martin Jr., Katelyn Carswell and Madelyn Carswell; her son-in-law, Buddy Jordan; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Straughn was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Straughn, her daughter, Elizabeth Straughn Jordan, and her son, Ed Straughn Jr.
