Myrtis Lessie Crowell, 85, of Andalusia, died Tues., Jan. 20, 2009, at the Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Frank McVay and Eugene Meadows will officiate. Interment will follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by two sons, Bryant (Rochelle) Crowell of Jay, Fla., and Ben (Joyce) Crowell of Andalusia; a daughter, Benita Beth (Kenneth) Youngblood of Baker, Fla.; two brothers, James (Helen) McVay of High Springs, Fla., and Carol Wayne (Jeanette) McVay of Hornoville; a sister, Lillian E. (Jim) Medley of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Crowell is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Crowell; three sons, Bob, Bill and Braxton Crowell; and one grandson, Joseph Obrian.
Pallbearers include grandsons Benjamin Crowell, Blake Crowell, James Alexander Crowell, Brian Dewayne Reeves, Brandon Lee Crowell and James Phillip Crowell.
