Glenda Kirkland Carroll of Lakeland, Fla., went to be with our Lord on Dec. 10, 2008, surrounded by her family. She was born in Covington County, on Sept. 19, 1934, to Sentell Harrelson Kirkland and Roscoe Kirkland.
She is survived by sons Randy Carroll of Apopka, Fla., and Joe Carroll of Memphis, Tenn.; daughters, Pam Leffel of Los Vegas, Cindy Harrison of Auburndale, Fla., and Regina Krause of Lakeland, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Warren Kirkland of Prattville, and a sister, Faye Pilot of Lexington, S.C.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Sat., Jan. 31, 2009, at Able Cemetery in Gantt, Ala., next to her children’s father, James R. (Bobby) Carroll. Bro. Derwood Cleland will lead the services.
Visitation will be at Point A Lodge at 2 p.m. following the services.
