Mrs. Sallie V. Dean, 94, of the Straughn community, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, in Dothan.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Sun., Feb. 8, at the Dozier Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation was from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughters, Sallie Louise (James) Stallings of Daphne, Howelyne (James) Amerson, Pinckard, Ala.; her sons, David Lemar (Vayle) Dean of Dozier, Donnie Lomax Dean of Andalusia, and John Terry Dean of Dozier; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Howard Dean and her great-granddaughter, Kirsten Leanna Dean.
