Ms. Barbara Brooks Utsey, 87, of Andalusia, died Tues., March 10, 2009, in Blue Water Bay, Fla.
Barbara was a caring, loving daughter to her parents. She was a loving mother and a loyal friend. She was a wonderful cook and an avid bridge player.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Magnolia Cemetery with Minister Herb Carlisle officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Guy Tadlock of Destin, Fla.; her sister-in-law, Dot Brooks of Andalusia; a nephew, Bob (Denise) Brooks of Andalusia; two nieces, Beverly Abrams of Falls Church, Va., and Barbara (Frankie) Bodie of Mobile; her great-nephews, Sam Hayes, Minter Hayes, Colin Brooks, Evan Brooks and Graham Bodie; and her great-nieces, Emily Brooks, Alisha Brooks, Sarah Bodie, and Ashley Bodie.
Pallbearers will be Bob Brooks, Evan Brooks, Robert Anderson, Sam Hayes, Minter Hayes and Wayne Graves.
