Alcus “Red” Hallford, 74, of Red Level, passed away Sat., March 14, 2009, in the Andalusia hospital. Funeral services were held Mon., March 16, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Cummings officiating. Interment followed in the Gorum Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, of Red Level; sons, Robert Alcus Hallford and Harold Alcus Hallford; daughters, Ramona, Rebecca and Karen; stepson, Paul Ratliff; stepdaughters, Patricia Massinggall and Lisa Pickney; sister, Agnes Hall; and several grandchildren.
Red Hallford was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelia Rogers, and granddaughter, Donna Horton Rogers.
