David Homer Bennett, 62, of Andalusia, died Sun., April 5, 2009, in a Mobile hospital.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thurs., April 9, at Eastland Funeral Home in Nashville, Tenn., with burial in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. tonight at Foreman Funeral Home and at 6 p.m. Wed., April 8, at Eastland Funeral Home in Nashville.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Bennett of Andalusia; his daughter, Dana Nicole Bennett of Nashville; his stepsons, Allen (April) Baxter of Andalusia, Terry Newton of Nashville and Bobby Smith of Joelton, Tenn.; a step-daughter, Annette Rider of Crystal River, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; his brother, Johnny (Dianne) Bennett of Nashville; and two nieces.
