Henry Colvin

Henry Madison (Mack) Colvin, a native of Andalusia, and resident of W. F. Green Veterans Home in Bay Minette, passed on Thurs., April 16, 2009, due to a long illness. His passing was peaceful with his dedicated wife, SaMartha, by his side. He was 64 years old.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Willie Bell Colvin of Rose Hill, and sister, Valencia Brawner of Andalusia.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, SaMartha Colvin; sons, Dayley, Keith, Dwan and Devlin Colvin; a daughter, Padgette Colvin Warsnop; and a brother, Geral Colvin of Andalusia. Mack enjoyed 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He dedicated eight years of service to the U.S. Marine Corps.
Memorial services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Bay Minette on Sun., April 19, beginning with visitation at 1:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary, with a memorial service following at 2:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bay Minette building fund or to the W. F. Green Veterans Home activity fund.
