Mr. Hobson Wiggins, 95, died Tues., May 5, 2009.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Fri., May 8, in the Ward Wilson Chapel. Interment will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Wiggins was born Dec. 21, 1913. He retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Andalusia and Dothan after 32 years of service. After retirement he moved to Odessa, Texas, and became the general manager of Kettle Restaurant for 13 years. He moved back to Dothan after retiring from his second job. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dothan where he also served as a deacon. He also served as a deacon at Light House Church in Odessa, Texas.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 69 years Effie Wiggins of Dothan; daughter, Dianne Wiggins Jordan of Franklin, Tenn.; grandchildren, Tara Jordan Martin and her husband, Shane of Dothan, Colby Wiggins and five great-grandchildren.
