Willie C. Gipson, 75, of Georgiana, died Wed., May 13, 2009, after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be Sat., May 16, from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas V. Smith and the Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the East Side Baptist Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gipson of Georgiana; his son, Jerry Gipson of Georgiana; daughters, Judie Wicker of Andalusia, Sandra Kennedy of Georgiana and Beck Skipper of McKenzie; sister, Claudia Herring of Georgiana; brother, Jack Gipson of Georgiana; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
