Funeral services for Gloria Dianne Ferrell Feagin will be on Sat., May 23, 2009, at 1 p.m. at First Unity Missionary Baptist Church on Carlton Street in Andalusia.
She departed this life Mon., May 18, at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. She was born Jan. 17, 1953, in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Katie Lee Smith Ferrell; her father, Mr. Levester Buck Ferrell; her stepfather, Mr. Legion Grant; her brother, Levester Ferrell Jr.; her sister, Cynthia Kaye Ferrell.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, James Derrell Feagin of Nashville, Tenn., Carlo Roman Feagin of Andalusia, and a special son, Mr. David Earl McClain of Red Level; three sisters, Katherine (Claudewell) Campbell Huntsville, Ms. Betty Ferrell and Ms. Oscar Mae Ferrell, all of Andalusia; four brothers, Gene Autry (Annie) Ferrell of Midland City, George Edward (Geraldine) Ferrell, Bobby Ray Ferrell and the Rev. John Wayne (Valerie) Ferrell, all of Andalusia; two grandchildren, Hope Daniels of Brantley Tamya Feagin of Birmingham; three aunts, Mrs. Annie Harris of Kalamazoo, Mich., Mrs. Minnie L. Smith of Inverness, Fla., Mrs. Inez Wytch of Andalusia; one uncle, Issac Smith of Andalusia; a friend for life, Mrs. Bobbie Ann Drake; special friends, Mary Mims, Jeanette Thomas, Carolyn Harrison and a host of nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Claudewell Campbell will be officiating with Marshall-Hammond Funeral Home directing.
