Dear Editor,

We thank our friends, relatives and especially our pastor, the Rev. Eugene Meadows, for the calls, visits and especially their prayers for my mother, Sarah Rachel Elmore.

We extend our thanks to Dr. Frank Maddox, his staff and the staff on the second floor of Andalusia Regional Hospital, for the excellent care given to my mother in a professional and caring manner. Mr. Tommy James has a wonderful staff and the entire staff was so sweet and kind to her and my family. Some of the nurses even called her, “Grannie.”

I think Mr. Mark Dooley, CEO of the hospital, is really trying to make the operations of the hospital run more smoothly.

A great big thank you to all of the above.
